Bicentennial Equestrian Park Off Leash Area

Overview
Located in Western Sydney’s Camden region, the Bicentennial Equestrian Park off‑leash area in Camden offers an expansive, unfenced space for dogs to roam under supervision.
This time‑restricted off‑leash zone is framed by natural bushland and walking tracks, giving it a peaceful, outdoorsy feel that’s ideal for active outings.
The area is unfenced and only available for off‑lead play before 10 am and after 5 pm on non‑equestrian event days. Outside these windows—and during events—dogs must remain on-leash throughout. Dog owners must stay in control at all times, clean up waste using provided bags and bins, and limit themselves to no more than four dogs. Dogs deemed dangerous, menacing or restricted breeds are not permitted, and children must be supervised.
Bicentennial Equestrian Park spans approximately 200 acres (88 ha) and features vast open spaces, bushland, picnic and BBQ facilities, pavilions, walking and cycling paths, and memorial and equestrian amenities. It’s a versatile destination for both dog outings and family recreation.
This area is best suited to active, well-trained dogs that enjoy open, off-lead exercise and can manage intermittent access. It’s perfect for confident dogs who thrive in natural, community-oriented environments—with the added benefit of walking trails and wide open vistas.
Bicentennial Equestrian Park is managed by Camden Council.
