Darvall Park

Overview
Located in Sydney’s Northern Suburbs, Darvall Park in Denistone/West Ryde is an unfenced off-leash area. The park extends from Eastwood to West Ryde along Chatham Road and features mature trees, open grass, and landscaped picnic zones.
The park is known for its new playground for younger children, picnic shelters, BBQ facilities, toilets, walking paths and a cycleway. The designated dog off-leash area is part of the layout.
Dogs may be exercised off leash at all times within the designated off-leash area, even though other parts of the park may be used for sports or recreation.
Darvall Park is located on Chatham Road, with access from Denistone/West Ryde. Its pathways and cycleway link into local walking networks, and its playground and picnic infrastructure make it useful for families and dog owners wanting mixed-use visits.
This open, unfenced setting suits dogs with reliable recall and owners who prefer broad open lawn areas for exercise rather than containers or fences.
Darvall Park is managed by the City of Ryde.
