The hotel's Pet Stay package opens up any room type to dogs, with a plush bed set up in the lounge and food and water bowls ready in the bathroom on arrival. The standout feature is the in-room pet dining menu, which is genuinely impressive: think Farmhouse Chook with chicken, carrots and steamed rice; Angus beef with pumpkin and sweet potato; and desserts including peanut butter ice cream and a probiotic smoothie with goat's milk and organic carob.

Dogs are welcome at the rooftop bar and pool area on leash, and can be left in the room (in a carrier or crate) while you dine. Steyne Park and Guilfoyle Park are a short walk away, with Rushcutters Bay Park's off-leash lawns just a little further. Rose Bay dog beach is a quick drive.
