Steyne Park

Overview
Located in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, Steyne Park in Double Bay is an unfenced off-leash area at its northern end. The park provides a bright, waterside community setting next to the harbour.
Steyne Park is known for its foreshore lawn space, boat ramp for non-motorised watercraft, gazebo, benches, playground, and nearby access to the water via the Double Bay Sailing Club. There is street parking around the park.
Owners should know that dogs must be on leash except in the specific off-leash area between the seawall and pedestrian path. Off-leash is permitted at all times in that section except when sailing rigging is underway during organised events.
The reserve is a short stroll from Double Bay Ferry Wharf, local cafés, shops, and highlights of the harbour, making it ideal for combining dog-walks with errands or relaxed outings.
Steyne Park is best suited to social, moderate-energy dogs that are comfortable off leash in defined zones and respond well to recall.
Steyne Park is managed by Woollahra Council.
