Waverley Park

Overview
Located in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, Waverley Park in Bondi Junction is a designated off-leash area (limited sections).
The reserve is a major sports and recreation park with multiple courts, fields, fitness stations and heritage playground.
The park features the Margaret Whitlam Recreation Centre, several fields (including one synthetic), multiple netball/multi-purpose courts, picnic and kiosk facilities, a modern playground and free barbecues.
Dogs are permitted to be off leash only within the designated area on Waverley Reservoir as shown on the off-leash map. Dogs must be on leash outside of that area. Dogs are prohibited on all sports fields and courts, and within 10 metres of the children’s playground and public barbecues (except on designated footpaths).
Waverley Park is located at the corner of Bondi Road, Park Parade and Birrell Street in Bondi Junction, with on-street parking and accessible routes via Park Parade and Bondi Road.
The partial off-leash layout suits dogs that are confident with recall and are comfortable confined to a designated section; less suited for dogs requiring full unfenced roaming or separation from sports facilities.
Waverley Park is managed by Waverley Council.
