Petstock Group

Petstock Group is an Australian pet retail and services company founded by brothers Shane and David Young. The business originated in 1991 when the Young family took ownership of Ballarat Produce in regional Victoria, before rebranding as Petstock in 2002. Today, Petstock Group operates close to 300 sites across Australia and New Zealand, offering pet retail, veterinary clinics, grooming salons, pet daycare, and e-commerce.

The group's own brands include Glow, an Australian-made pet food range, and Billie's Bowl. In 2024, Woolworths Group (ASX:WOW) completed its acquisition of a 55% majority stake in Petstock Group, with co-founders Shane and David Young retaining the remaining 45% and continuing to lead the business.
