Blacktown Animal Rehoming Centre

Blacktown Animal Rehoming Centre (BARC), located in Glendenning, provides shelter, care, and adoption services for stray, lost, abandoned, and surrendered animals from within the Blacktown local area and nearby regions.

This location is the official pound for Bayside Council, Blacktown City Council, City of Canada Bay Council, Fairfield City Council, City of Ryde Council, Willoughby City Council and Lane Cove Council, managing the care of lost and stray animals on their behalf.

Adoption

BARC rehomes dogs and cats by appointment only—available animals are listed online and viewings, matching, and adoptions are coordinated at their Glendenning facility. Adoption is handled in-person at 20 Owen Street, Glendenning, with staff guiding you through all necessary steps.
